Richard Thompson

Richard Thompson is a writer, broadcaster and social scientist with a special interest in the psychology of communication. After working for a number of years in the mental health field he moved into radio and television and from there into public relations, the media and communications.

In recent years he has acted as a public affairs advisor to industry as well as running personal performance training programmes and writing. He is co-author with Geoff Ribbens of Body Language in a Week, which is aimed at Management, and with the late Gordon Wainwright of Teach Yourself Body Language and Master Body Language. In addition to this, he runs a private archive as a research resource for students of literature and the performing arts. Richard is married and splits his time between homes in Surrey and rural Andalucia where he does much of his creative writing.
