Alison Straw

For over 20 years Alison Straw has supported organisations achieve their aspirations by developing their individual and organisational capability. She has held senior positions in human resources, learning and coaching in companies such as Selfridges, and The Institute of Management. Latterly she was the Human Resources Director of Bettys & Taylors of Harrogate.

Alison’s career has been devoted to helping individuals, groups and organisations develop. She is passionate about engaging and inspiring people and has worked with many senior executives supporting them in delivering value through values.

Alison has an MSc in Human Resource Development, is a recognised practitioner by the British Psychological Society, is a Chartered Member of CIPD and a Member of The Institute of Management.

Alison has been a judge for the National Training Awards, the chair of an employer panel for Investors in People and has written four business books, in addition to many articles. Alison has also volunteered for many years latterly as the founder, supervisor and trainer of an open door counselling and information service for young people at risk.
